The Gold Bars 1 Ounce, 10 grams, 5 grams and 2.5 grams are placed in a transparent, protective case. The Gold Bars of 1 gram are delivered in a luxurious finecard.

It is not possible to return the Gold Bars. This is because of the live pricefeed on our pages that can change every minute. The fluctuating Gold prices make it impossible to guarantee that the price is the same from the moment of purchase to the moment of receiving the order. 

Can I order the Gold Bars on the phone?

You can only order the Gold Bars online, via our website. It is not possible to place your order while on the phone with our Customer Service. Of course you can ask our Customer Service all your other questions regarding the Gold Bars.

What are the Gold prices based on?

Our prices are based on the current Gold prices that are valid at this moment. Therefore, Helsinki Mint has no influence on the changing of the price. 

Where do the precious metals come from?

For the Gold Bars, we use recycled precious metals, coming from the refinery of the Royal Dutch Mint sister company in Germany.

What is the packaging of the Gold Bars?

The Gold Bar 1 Ounce and Gold Bars of 10 grams, 5 grams and 2.5 grams are placed in a transparent protective case. The Gold Bars of 1 gram have a finecard packaging.

The price changes every minute, what happens to the price when the product is already in my shopping chart?

The price that is valid on the moment that you place the Gold Bar in your shopping chart, can still change every minute. At check-out, a timeslot of 5 minutes starts, in which the price stays the same. This means you have 5 minutes to proceed with your payment and place the order. 

After 5 minutes, if the order has not been placed, the page will automatically refresh and the price will be adjusted according to the up-to-date price. Don’t refresh the page yourself, because then the timeslot will start again. The filled-in information will not be removed when the page is automatically refreshed.

What happens with the Gold price outside de market opening times?

Outside the opening times of the market, the highest price of that day will stay valid. The market is open from Sunday afternoon to Friday afternoon. The opening times are from 02:00 a.m. to 11.59 p.m. The market closes on Friday 4.00 p.m. (C.E.T). The highest rate of that day will stay valid until Sunday 5.00 p.m. (C.E.T), when the market opens again. 

How will my Gold Bars be sent to me?

The shipping of your order with Gold Bars depends on the order. Small packages until €80 will be send anonymously in a letterbox package. Packages with a value between €80 and €300 will be sent as a normal, anonymous package. Bigger packages with a value above €300 that don’t fit in a letterbox, will be send anonymously and as registered mail. 

On the bottom of my Gold Bar I see a logo, what does it mean?

Every Gold Bar has the logo of Heimerle & Meule, our mother company. Besides that is the name Melter Assayer. This sign guarantees the purity of the precious metals. 

Can I receive an invoice for gold and silver bars or bullion coins?

For products found in the gold and silver bars and bullion coins category, we do not provide an invoice.
